The foneAlone is a device that will automatically disconnect
your answering machine, FAX, or computer modem from the phone line any
time that another phone on the same line is taken off hook. It can also
be used as an automatic exclusion device. If there are several extension
phones on the same line, a foneAlone can be placed on each extension so
that the first phone answered will have the line. The other phones will
go dead. This will prevent eavesdropping or accidentally interrupting a
call. FAX or Computer data can be protected by this device from someone
accidently picking up an extension while the line is in use.
